Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team’s Jonny Walker has claimed an impressive runner-up overall result at round three of the 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, marking his best finish of the series so far. With 2-3-3 race results in Romania, Jonny claimed a spot on the podium in second place, which also advanced him to second in the championship standings.

Making a strong start to the evening at the BTarena in Cluj, Walker stormed the one-lap Superpole to place second, claiming two championship points right off the bat. Carrying his impressive pace into race one, Jonny initially emerged in seventh place off the start. However, the Brit immediately gelled well with the technical course and worked his way through the field to claim a solid runner-up result.

Starting from the back row in the reverse-grid race two, Jonny quickly showcased his skill and experience to steadily move up through the order each lap. Putting his head down to deliver a mistake-free ride on the demanding course, Walker battled through the closing stages of the race to secure another podium finish on his TF 250.

Delivering his best start of the evening, Walker wasted no time getting to the front of the pack and exited the first corner of race three in third position. Quickly moving into second, Jonny joined a fierce three-way fight for the top spot, much to the delight of the passionate Romanian fans. Holding on to his top three position for the duration of the race, the Brit ultimately took third at the chequered flag.

Jonny’s impressive race results awarded him a podium finish in second overall, marking his best result of the 2025 series so far. After tonight’s stellar performance, the Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team rider moves up to second in the overall championship standings after three rounds.

The seven-round 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship returns to Poland for round five in Lodz on February 1st.

Jonny Walker: "I'm pleased with the result and how I rode today, but we still have some work to do. My race pace is good, but it’s the small mistakes and bad starts that are holding me back. I’m still working to improve my Superpole laps, which will hopefully help. The first race was great, the second race I had a small crash but managed to get back up, and in the final race, I got caught up in some lapped riders near the end. We’re making some really good progress and getting closer with each and every race, though!”
